Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• The position is funded under the ICMR project titled "Efficacy of Allogenic Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Reducing Fibrosis and Enhancing Muscle Regeneration in Patients with Oral Submucous Fibrosis: A Randomized Controlled Trial", supervised by Dr. Varun Surya, CDER, AIIMS, New Delhi.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Essential Qualification: First-class M.Sc / M.Tech / M.E in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, or related fields with 3 years of research experience, OR a PhD in the relevant subject.
• Desirable Experience:
• Hands-on experience in cell and molecular biology laboratory techniques.
• Practical experience with MSC culture, characterization, and translational stem cell workflows.
• Proficiency in techniques such as flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, and ICC/IF.
• Experience working with human biological samples and clinical research documentation.
• Knowledge of GCLP/GLP and regulatory processes (ICMR, IEC, CTRI).
• Strong data analysis and scientific writing skills.
• Age Limit: The candidate's age, as on the last date of application submission (20 October 2026), must not exceed 40 years.

Salary Structure

• The selected candidate will receive Rs. 67,000 per month plus HRA, strictly as per ICMR and AIIMS guidelines. All salary and experience-related norms are governed by ICMR project guidelines. Note: As this is an ICMR-funded project-based contractual position, the salary and allowances are project-linked and do not carry the benefits of a regular AIIMS cadre appointment.

Selection Process & Screening Clause
