  • Junior Assistant / Steno Typing Test: Conducted in Hindi on computer. Minimum benchmark is 4,000 Key Depressions Per Hour (KDPH) in Hindi. For Stenographer cadres, 80 WPM shorthand test in Hindi is administered.
  • Patwari / Lekhpal Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Male candidates must run 7 kilometers in 60 minutes; female candidates must run 3.5 kilometers in 35 minutes. Minimum height criteria (168 cm for males, 152 cm for females) with hill candidate relaxations.
  • Scaler / Forest Guard Physical Test: Walking/running test of 25 km for males (in 4 hours) and 14 km for females (in 4 hours).
