Eligibility Criteria for NGRI Recruitment 2026

  • Applicants must check the specific qualification for each post as mentioned in the Official Notification PDF.
  • Project Assistant-I: SSC / 10th plus ITI.
  • Project Assistant-II: B.Sc. with Computer Science / Nursing / Physiotherapy or Diploma.
  • Project Associate-I: MBA, MCA, Diploma in Civil Engg., B.E./B.Tech (Electronics), M.Sc. (Geophysics/Earth Sciences).
  • Project Associate-II: MCA/B.E. with 2 years experience OR M.Sc. (Geophysics/Geology) with 2 years experience.
  • Senior Project Associate: MCA with 3 years experience OR M.Sc./Ph.D. in Geophysics with relevant experience.
  • Principal Project Associate: M.Sc./M.Tech in Geophysics with 6 years experience.
  • Project Scientist-I: Ph.D. in Geophysics with 4 years research experience.

Age Limit

  • Maximum 35 years for Project Assistant & Associate posts.
  • Maximum 40 years for Senior/Principal Project Associate & Scientist posts.
  • Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women, 3 years for OBC.

Salary / Stipend

  • Project Assistant-I: Rs. 18,000/- + HRA
  • Project Assistant-II: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA
  • Project Associate-I: Rs. 25,000/- or 31,000/- + HRA
  • Project Associate-II: Rs. 28,000/- or 35,000/- + HRA
  • Senior Project Associate: Rs. 42,000/- + HRA
  • Principal Project Associate: Rs. 49,000/- + HRA
  • Project Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA
