Bharathiar University Recruitment 2026 – Vacancy Details

• Note: Preference will be given to candidates with NET/SET/GATE qualifications. The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project (initially 1 year, extendable up to 3 years).

Educational Qualification

• Senior Project Associate: Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology from a recognized university.
• Project Assistant: M.Sc. / M.Phil. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.

Age Limit

• Standard DRDO project age guidelines apply: usually below 35 years for Project Assistant and below 40 years for Senior Project Associate. Age relaxations as per Government of India norms for reserved categories.
