Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Driver: Matriculation with valid driving licence for light and heavy vehicles and minimum 3 years driving experience.
  • Clerk (Legal): Law Graduate from a recognized university.
  • Clerk (Accounts): Graduation with Statistics, Mathematics, or Accounts, or Matriculation with Punjabi, or Commerce Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Clerk (I.T.): Graduate/B.Tech in Computer Science/IT, BCA, PGDCA, or B.E./B.Tech in IT/ECE/CSE with 2 years experience.
  • Translator: Graduation with 120 hours computer course or equivalent.
  • Field Artist: Graduate in Music, Drama, or Dance.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection process for Punjab SSSB Recruitment 2026 includes:
  • Written Examination (MCQ format, Part A and Part B)
  • Typing Test in Punjabi and English (30 wpm) where applicable
  • Document Verification and Counseling
  • No Travel Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the selection process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates must bring the following documents for verification:
  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate or Birth Certificate as proof of date of birth.
  • All degree and consolidated mark sheets for relevant qualifications.
  • Experience certificates on official letterhead, if applicable.
  • Valid category/caste certificate in Central Government prescribed format, if applicable.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs and valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, PAN).
