- Fire Officer: Bachelor's Degree in Fire Engineering.
- Security Officer: Graduation with prescribed three-year service experience.
- Sub Fire Officer: Graduation with Chemistry and prescribed fire service course.
- Security Inspector / Security Sub Inspector: Graduation with prescribed three-year relevant service experience.
- Assistant Law Officer: LLB with minimum Second Division and Bar Council registration.

- Stenographer Gr. III: Prescribed Degree and computer qualification with shorthand proficiency.
- Assistant Lab Technician: 12th with Biology, Physics and Chemistry, DMLT/BMLT and required registration.
- Assistant Pharmacist: 12th with Physics and Chemistry, Pharmacy Diploma/Degree and registration.
- Assistant Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with registration.
- Assistant Radiographer: 12th Science, Radiography Diploma/Certificate and registration.
- Assistant Dresser: 12th Science, prescribed Dresser qualification and registration.
- Assistant ECG Technician: 12th Science, ECG/ICCU Technician training and registration.
- Attendant (Plant) Gr. III: 10th with minimum Second Division and two-year ITI in the relevant trade.
- Fire Attendant Gr. II: 12th with Chemistry and NCC B or C Certificate.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2026)
- For eligible Class II posts, the upper age limit for candidates without Chhattisgarh domicile is 30 years. Most Class III and IV posts are restricted to Chhattisgarh domicile candidates.

- Eligible regular departmental employees of Chhattisgarh State Power Companies are exempted. Payment must be made online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI. The fee is non-refundable.
Selection Process & Screening Clause
- The recruitment includes an online Computer-Based Test (CBT). Depending on the post, shortlisted candidates may also undergo an interview, physical examination, shorthand test, typing skill test or document verification.
CBT Exam Pattern 2026
- The online CBT consists of 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks in two hours. Negative marking is 0.25 marks per incorrect answer. Minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR/OBC and 30% for SC/ST. The question paper is available in English and Hindi.
