  • Paper 1 (Class 9-10): Bachelor's degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks plus B.Ed., or 4-year integrated B.Ed. course, or NCTE-compliant courses.
  • Paper 2 (Class 11-12): Master's degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks plus B.Ed. or equivalent as per NCTE norms. Some subjects may allow exceptions.
