Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Agriculture Officer: Master Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Agriculture Engineering Assistant: Degree in Agriculture Engineering from a recognized University/Board. Desirable: Training in Soil and Water Conservation Work; 02 years experience in Minor Irrigation or Farm Mechanization Works.
  • Agriculture Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture from a recognized university or equivalent. Desirable: Two years’ experience in Farm Management & Agriculture Extension Works; Knowledge to read and write Hindi.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection is based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) and Document Verification. The CBT includes General Studies (30 questions, 30 marks) and Subject Paper (100 questions, 100 marks) with a total duration of 120 minutes. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer applies. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the CBT or verification process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications).
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable).
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
