Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Project Assistant (Project-Based): M.Sc. in Zoology / Wildlife Science / Environment Science / Life Science or allied subjects.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of Mammals, Avifauna, Herpetofauna, Entomology.
  • Candidates should verify discipline-specific eligibility against the official notification before attending.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection for the Project Assistant post will be based on a walk-in interview scheduled on 21 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. Candidates must report at the venue by 10:30 AM. Experience will be counted as on the date of interview and documentary proof must be attached. Publications that are in press or accepted will be considered.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the walk-in interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Post Graduate and higher)
  • Experience Certificates on official letterhead (experience counted as on date of interview)
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in prescribed format (if applicable)
  • Self-attest all documents with your signature
  • Attach photocopies of documents in the sequence of the document checklist
  • Publication photocopies (papers, popular articles, booklets, books or book chapters) if applicable
  • Certificates for seminars, symposia, workshops, conferences or training if applicable
  • NET/SLET certificate if applicable
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Application form as per the prescribed format with a recent signed passport-size photograph affixed
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
  • The application form collects name, address, mobile number, e-mail, date of birth, gender, category, educational qualification (graduation, post graduation, Ph.D., NET/SLET), experience, research publications, seminars and workshops attended, and other activities.
