• Short Information: Bihar Police Special Branch Constable 2026 The Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), Bihar has announced the Physical Standard Test (PST) and Document Verification (DV) schedule for candidates shortlisted under Advertisement No. 01/2026 for the recruitment of 83 Constables (General Duty Close Cadre) in the Special Branch of Bihar Police.
• The DV and PST will be conducted on September 12, 2026, at the sports ground of Bihar Veterinary College, Patna. Candidates appearing for the physical test must also complete document verification at the same venue on the same day.
• Candidates can download their DV/PST e-Admit Card from September 5, 2026, from the CSBC official website. No admit card will be sent through post. Candidates who are unable to download the admit card online can collect a duplicate copy from the CSBC office on September 10, 2026, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

• The required documents include:
• Valid Photo ID Proof — Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, Voter ID or another valid identity document.
• Matriculation/10th Certificate and Mark Sheet — for verification of date of birth.
• Intermediate/12th Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet.
• Caste and Residence Certificates, wherever applicable.
• EWS Certificate for eligible EWS candidates.
• Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate for applicable BC/EBC candidates.
• Freedom Fighter Dependent (FFW) Certificate, if claiming the benefit.
• Regular Government Service Certificate for candidates claiming the relevant government employee provision.

Important Instructions for Female Candidates

• For female candidates belonging to BC, EBC, SC or ST categories, the caste certificate must be issued using the father’s name and address. A caste certificate issued in the husband’s name will not meet this requirement.
• For a married female candidate applying under EWS/NCL provisions, the income/assets certificate is required from the husband’s place of residence, while the residence certificate must be based on the father’s permanent residence.
