Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya has notified a total of 02 vacancies for the Guest Teacher position across two agricultural disciplines. The remuneration is payable on a per-working-day basis with a monthly ceiling depending on the candidate's qualification level.
• Age Relaxation: A relaxation of 5 years is applicable for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and women candidates as per Chhattisgarh Government rules. The total age including relaxation shall not exceed 45 years.

Required Qualification (Both Posts)

• Master's Degree in the relevant subject of the Faculty of Agriculture with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade of 6.50 on a 10.00 scale) with a good academic record.
• NET (National Eligibility Test) is compulsory along with at least one publication in a NAAS-rated referred journal.
• NET Waiver Clause: The requirement of NET can be waived for candidates holding a Ph.D. Degree obtained with course work as prescribed by UGC Regulations 2009, having at least two full-length publications with NAAS rating not less than 4.

Pay Structure Based on Qualification

• Note: Guest teachers are not eligible for any allowances or facilities other than the specified remuneration.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Scrutiny of Application Forms: All received applications will be scrutinized for eligibility, completeness, and authenticity of documents.
• Interview: Shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for a personal interview. The interview schedule will be announced on the IGKV official website (www.igkv.ac.in).
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.
• Selected candidates must submit an affidavit on Rs. 50/- stamp paper agreeing to the University's rules and conditions of engagement.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• Master's Degree Certificate and Consolidated Mark Sheet showing 55% marks or equivalent grade.
