Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Project Associate-I (Biological Sciences):Four-year Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Biological Sciences from a recognised university, or equivalent.Must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET)/GATE or equivalent.At least one year of experience of working in a research project in a recognised institute.Desirable: Publications in indexed journals in the relevant field.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Eligibility will be decided on the basis of document verification by the Selection Committee and the competent authority.
  • Walk-in Interview on 31 October 2026 from 9:00 AM at Psychiatry IPD, Dhanvantari Building, AIIMS Kalyani.
  • No candidate will be allowed to report after 9:30 AM.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Four-year Bachelor's / Master's degree in Biological Sciences)
  • CSIR-UGC NET / GATE Qualified Certificate
  • Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (Minimum 1 year research project experience)
  • Self-attested copies of certificates of age, qualifications, and experience to be emailed before 30.10.2026 5:00 PM
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)

Important Instructions

  • The appointment is purely contractual and will not vest any right to claim regular appointment or permanent absorption in AIIMS Kalyani.
  • The contract will automatically expire on completion of project duration or withdrawal of funding agency support; terminable by either side with 30 days' notice or salary in lieu.
  • No hostel or accommodation will be provided by the Institute.
  • Private practice of any kind is prohibited; appointment is full-time.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
