- Electronics: B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc (4 Years) Engineering in Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication, Communication or Telecommunication.

- General, OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates must have First Class in the qualifying degree.

BEL Probationary Engineer Salary 2026
- Selected candidates will be appointed in E-II Grade with a basic pay scale of Rs. 40,000 - 3% - Rs. 1,40,000. The approximate annual CTC is Rs. 13 lakh. Employees will also be eligible for allowances and benefits, including Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Conveyance Allowance, Performance Related Pay and Medical Reimbursement, as admissible under company rules.

BEL Probationary Engineer Selection Process 2026
- The selection process consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by an interview. Candidates shortlisted through the CBT will be called for an interview in a 1:5 ratio, discipline-wise and category-wise.
- Computer-Based Test: 85% weightage.
- Interview: 15% weightage.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 35% for General/OBC/EWS and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in each stage separately.
