Educational and Technical Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent from a University recognized by the Government of Himachal Pradesh
  • English Shorthand Speed: 100 words per minute (W.P.M.)
  • English Typing Speed: 40 words per minute (W.P.M.)
  • Adequate knowledge of word processing on computer

Selection Process and Screening

  • Applications will be screened by HPSCDRC against the prescribed eligibility norms, including verification of the feeder category service record (5 years minimum) and shorthand/typing speed credentials. Shortlisted candidates may be called for a skill/stenography test and/or interview as determined by the Commission. Final selection is subject to satisfactory completion of document verification and clearance by the appointing authority.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in any test or interview conducted by the Commission.

  • Fill the application in the prescribed proforma available on the official website
  • Enclose self-attested copies of all requisite certificates and testimonials
  • Attach Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order of Rs. 500/- payable in favour of Registrar, H.P. State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Shimla
  • The application fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances
  • Forward the complete application through the candidate's Controlling Authority to reach the office on or before 30 October 2026, 5:00 PM
