Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech with 1st class or equivalent in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or any allied branch relevant to the project.
  • Desirable Qualification: Knowledge or experience in areas of communication and signal processing will be given preference.
  • Additional Preference: Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified GATE or NET.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (age relaxation as per Institute norms for reserved categories).
  • PhD Opportunity: Selected JRF candidates will be eligible to register for a PhD degree at PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur as per the eligibility criteria against a subsequent advertisement.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection for the Junior Research Fellow position will be conducted through a two-stage process:
  • Written Test: Candidates who apply before the deadline will appear for a written test.
  • Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be called for an interview scheduled tentatively on 06 November 2026 at 11:00 AM. The interview may be conducted in either online or offline mode.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be notified through email. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the written test or interview.
