  • The consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 50,000/- is enhanced by 10% each year during the contract period. No other allowances shall be admissible. A company quarter may be provided if available, with necessary deductions as per Company Rules.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Nationality: Citizen of India.
  • Age Limit: Upper age limit is not more than 40 years as on 31 October 2026 (last date of receipt of applications).
  • Educational Qualification – Junior Translator:Master's degree of a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; ORMaster's degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; ANDDiploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from any Recognized Institute.
  • Experience: Two years' experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central/State Government Office, PSU, Autonomous Body, or large reputed organization.
  • Preferred Skills: Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of computer applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint etc. is essential.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Educational Qualification & Experience Screening: Applications are shortlisted based on academic merit, relevant qualification, and years of documented translation experience.
  • Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview conducted by a duly constituted selection committee at the AWEIL Corporate Office, Kanpur.
  • Document Verification: Original documents are verified at the time of interview. Candidates employed in Government/Public Sector must produce an NOC at the time of interview.
  • No TA/DA shall be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Two self-attested recent passport-size photographs (4.4 cm × 5.8 cm) with full name written on the backside of one photograph.
  • Self-attested copies of age proof (Birth Certificate / 10th Class Certificate).
  • Self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates and mark sheets.
  • Self-attested copies of experience certificates from recognized organizations.
  • Diploma/Certificate in translation from a recognized institute.
  • NOC from employer (if working in Government / Public Sector) – to be submitted at the time of interview.
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).

Application Instructions:

  • Download the prescribed application form from AWEIL official website or DDPD OO official website.
  • Fill in all relevant details including qualifications, experience, percentage of marks, email address, contact mobile number, correspondence address, Aadhaar/PAN number.
  • Affix one passport-size photograph in the provided space and sign across it. Keep the second photograph attached with full name on the backside.
  • Enclose self-attested copies of all supporting documents.
  • Government/PSU employees must forward the application through proper channel or submit an NOC at the time of interview.
  • Superscribe the envelope with: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST – Junior Translator".
  • Send the hard copy via Speed Post or Courier to: DIRECTOR (HR), Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited, Ordnance Factory Kanpur premises, Kapli Road, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh – 208009. Application must reach on or before 31 October 2026.
