Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Assistant Professor (Discipline of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology):Essential: Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Agricultural Biotechnology / Molecular Biology and Biotechnology / Biochemistry from a recognized university.Essential: NET qualification conducted by UGC, ICAR, or CSIR.Alternate Eligibility: Retired Professors from Government Colleges may also apply.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection will be based on an Interview conducted by a Selection Committee approved by the University. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
  • Note: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Candidates must submit the following documents along with the offline application form:
  • Duly filled and signed Application Form.
  • Self-attested copies of all Educational Qualification Certificates and Mark Sheets.
  • Proof of NET (UGC/ICAR/CSIR) Qualification.
  • Experience Certificates (if applicable).
  • Proof of Age (Matriculation Certificate).
  • Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/PAN).
  • Application Fee Demand Draft (if applicable).
  • Instructions: Send the completed application form and documents via Speed Post or Registered Post to the address mentioned in the official notification. Ensure the application reaches before 01 October 2026. Keep a photocopy for your records.
