SSC Stenographer C & D Recruitment 2025 : Vacancy Details

• Grade D
• Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Mode: Online (Bilingual: English & Hindi, except English Language section)
• Duration: 2 hours (120 minutes)
• Total Marks: 200
• Marking Scheme:
• +1 mark for each correct answer
• −0.25 marks for each incorrect answer
• Sections:
• General Intelligence & Reasoning: 50 questions (50 marks)
• General Awareness: 50 questions (50 marks)
• English Language & Comprehension: 100 questions (100 marks)
• Note: The English Language & Comprehension section is conducted in English only.
• Stage 2: Skill Test in Stenography
• Eligibility: Candidates who qualify the CBT are eligible for the Skill Test.

• Grade C: 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for 10 minutes
• Grade D: 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes

• Hindi: 55 minutes

• Hindi: 65 minutes
• Medium: Candidates can choose between English and Hindi for the Skill Test.
