Post-Wise Vacancy and Remuneration Details

• Important Note on Remuneration: The Revenue and Forest Department, Khed has specified that remuneration will be disbursed strictly as per prevailing Government rates and rules applicable to temporary / contractual posts. This recruitment does not offer a regular salary structure or retirement benefits such as pension, gratuity, or provident fund as available to permanent Government employees.

Eligibility Criteria and Educational Qualification

• Revenue Servant (Kotwal):Candidate must have passed at least 4th Standard (minimum educational qualification as per the notification).Candidate must possess knowledge of Marathi language (reading, writing, and speaking).Candidate must be a permanent resident / domicile of Khed Taluka, Pune District, Maharashtra.
• Age Limit (as on 02 October 2026):Minimum Age: 18 yearsMaximum Age: 40 yearsAge relaxation as per Maharashtra Government rules for reserved categories, if applicable.

Selection Process and Screening Clause

• The selection for the Revenue Servant (Kotwal) post will be carried out through the following stages:
• Written Examination: All eligible candidates who submit valid offline applications on or before 17 October 2026 will be required to appear for a written examination scheduled for 15 November 2026. The examination syllabus, pattern, and center details will be communicated as per the official notification.
• Document Verification: Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for document verification to confirm eligibility in terms of educational qualification, domicile, category, age, and other criteria.
• TA/DA Clause: No Travel Allowance / Daily Allowance will be paid to candidates appearing for the written examination or document verification stage. Candidates must bear their own travel and accommodation expenses.

• Candidates must carry the following documents (originals along with self-attested copies) to the document verification stage:
• Original 4th Standard Mark Sheet / Education Certificate as Proof of Qualification
• Original Birth Certificate / 10th Standard Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• Domicile / Residence Certificate proving Permanent Domicile of Khed Taluka, Pune District
• Marathi Language Knowledge Certificate / Written Undertaking
• Category / Caste Certificate in Maharashtra Government prescribed format (for Backward Class category candidates)
• Two recent passport-size photographs
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / PAN Card)
