Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Tech./M.E. in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering (with a 4/5 years Bachelor's degree).
• Mandatory Requirement: Qualified NET (ICAR/UGC/CSIR) or GATE examination.
• Experience: Two years of research experience required.
• Desirable Skills: Expertise in agro-machine fabrication, CAD for mechanical/electronic circuit development, and programming in C, Python, and Android Application programming.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/Women; 3 years for OBC (as per Govt. of India/ICAR Rules).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be based on a direct walk-in interview held on 23 November 2026 at 10:00 AM.
• Candidates must pre-register via the official JRF Google Form before attending.
• The mode of interview (offline/online slot) may be communicated via email/SMS in advance; candidates must remain responsive.
• The decision of the Joint Director (Research), ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, will be final.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
