Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Assistant Professor (Hindi): As per UGC norms. Candidates with Degree/Ph.D. from universities outside Kerala must submit an equivalency/eligibility certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University.
  • Assistant Professor (Microbiology/Biotechnology): As per UGC norms.
  • Assistant Professor (Environmental Science): As per UGC norms.
  • Retired Teachers: Teachers retired from Colleges/Universities will be considered subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years as on 01.01.2026.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The official notification does not specify a written test, skill test, or interview schedule. Applications received by email within the deadline will be screened for eligibility and document verification. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending any selection process. Late applications and applications not submitted in the prescribed format or without scanned copies of certificates will be summarily rejected.

  • Proof that journals are approved by UGC / peer-reviewed
  • Impact factor documentation of published articles
  • Experience certificate
  • Awards certificates
  • Proof for CGPA to percentage conversion
  • Proof of all other additional qualifications
  • Equivalency/eligibility certificate from Mahatma Gandhi University (for candidates with Degree/Ph.D. from institutions outside the State of Keralam)
