  • Total 79 vacancies are distributed as follows:
  • Category-wise Distribution: UR (16), OBC (11), SC (02), ST (50). Horizontal reservations apply for Women (30%), Ex-servicemen (10%), Home Guards (25%), Assistant Constables (15%), and Agniveers (10%).

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Residency: Only local residents of Bastar district may apply.
  • Educational Qualification:10th Pass from a school located in Chhattisgarh or Madhya Pradesh.5th Pass eligible for Scheduled Tribe candidates.5th Pass eligible for Naxal-victim families or families living in relief camps in Naxal-affected areas.
  • Physical Standards (Height): Men (UR/SC/OBC): 163 cm+, Men (ST): 150 cm+, Women (UR/SC/OBC): 153 cm+, Women (ST): 148 cm+.
  • Chest (Men): 79 cm unexpanded (ST: 74 cm), 84 cm expanded (ST: 79 cm). Minimum expansion of 5 cm required.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection will be conducted in the following stages:
  • Document Verification
  • Physical Measurement
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - 100 Marks
  • Written Examination - 50 Marks (Objective type, GK, Local Geography, Arithmetic)
  • Interview - 20 Marks
  • Bonus Marks - Up to 30 Marks
  • Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in any stage of the selection process. Up to 15 times the advertised posts will be called for the written exam.
