Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Sangwari Guruji (Lecturer): Postgraduate degree in second division (minimum second division) in the relevant subject from a recognised university or institute, along with B.Ed. Subject-wise rules apply for Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Commerce, Political Science/History, Geography/Economics, and Social Studies.
• Sangwari Guruji (Teacher): Graduation with at least 45% marks with the relevant subject(s) at graduation level, along with B.Ed. and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification. Subject-wise rules apply for Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Social Science, Mathematics, and Science.
• Sangwari Guruji (Assistant Teacher): Higher Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks, a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) obtained as per NCTE (Recognition, Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002, and Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) qualification.
• Additional Conditions:
• Only candidates residing in the concerned development block are eligible; applications from other blocks or districts will not be accepted in the first invitation.
• If no eligible candidate is found from the block in the first invitation, candidates from other blocks of Balod district may be considered.
• A residence certificate for the concerned block must be attached with the application.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Applications will be scrutinised by the Head of Institution and the School Management and Development Committee (SMDC/SMC) as per prescribed criteria.
• Merit will be determined on the basis of percentage of marks in qualifying examinations as per the prescribed merit table.
• For High/Higher Secondary School posts, the merit calculation is: 20% of Higher Secondary percentage + 30% of graduation percentage + 50% of postgraduate percentage (100 marks total).
• In case of equal marks, the older candidate (by date of birth) gets preference.
• A waiting list of five candidates in order of merit will be prepared, valid till 31 March 2027.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for participation in the selection process.

• Attested copy of caste certificate issued by the competent authority (if applicable)

• Self-attested copies of all educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
• Self-attested copies of training / B.Ed / D.El.Ed / TET certificates
• Consent letter as per the prescribed criteria and service conditions

How to Apply – Offline Submission Steps

• Fill the application form printed on pages 10–11 of the official notification, addressed to the Principal / Head of Institution of the school you are applying for.
• Paste a recent colour passport-size photograph and self-attest it.
• Attach the residence certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and self-attested copies of all other required documents.
• Attach the consent letter as per the prescribed criteria and service conditions.
• Submit the completed application in person at the office of the Principal / Head of Institution of the concerned school by 04:00 PM on 16 November 2026.
