Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate or Class 12 or an equivalent examination.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, maximum 35 years, calculated as on 1 July 2026.
• Local Residence Eligibility: Only local women candidates are eligible.For urban Anganwadi Centres: Resident of the concerned ward or division.For rural Anganwadi Centres: Resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat.Applications must be submitted for the Anganwadi Centre meeting these conditions.
• Reservation: Vacancies are distributed across Open Competition, SC (Group I, II, III), ST, BC (A, B, C, D, E), EWS, and Visually Handicapped categories. Special rules apply for SC/ST Sub-Plan centres.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates will be selected based on a merit list totaling 100 marks:
• Intermediate/Class 12 merit: 70 marks
• Widow category: 5 marks
• Orphan category: 10 marks
• Persons with Disabilities category: 5 marks
• Interview by District Selection Committee: 10 marks
• Screening Clause: If candidates exceed the available vacancies, a screening process may be conducted. The district administration's decision on selection is final. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
