Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Education: Minimum Matric/Secondary (10th) pass from a recognized educational institution.
  • Training: At least one compulsory 5-day training certificate issued by the Directorate of Agriculture or Horticulture.
  • Skills: Ability to ride a bicycle and climb trees; knowledge of local language.
  • Residency: Candidates can only apply for the Plant Protection Centre situated in their local block of residence.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection involves document screening followed by a 100-mark merit score calculation.
  • Academic Score (60 Marks): 10th % x 0.4 (Max 40), 12th % x 0.1 (Max 10), Graduation % x 0.1 (Max 10).
  • Local Residency (10 Marks): For applicants applying as a local resident of the concerned block.
  • Training Score (30 Marks): 5-day training = 20 marks; Extra 2-day training = 10 marks.
  • Practical Test: May be conducted (cycling/tree climbing) if deemed necessary by the selection committee.
  • Note: No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the document verification or practical test.

  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
  • All educational Degree and Mark Sheets (Matric, Intermediate, Graduation).
  • 05 Days Training Certificate from recognized agricultural bodies.

  • Self-attested photocopies of all documents & Two recent passport-size photographs.
  • Submission Mode: Must be sent via Registered Post to reach the office between 26-10-2026 and 14-11-2026. Applications received after the last date will not be accepted.
