  • The number of posts may increase or decrease as per the requirement of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Visakhapatnam.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must fulfil any one of the following qualification routes. Post-qualification experience is mandatory for all routes:
  • Route 1: Diploma in DMLT or Transfusion Medicine or Blood Bank Technology after 10+2, with one year experience in testing of blood and/or its components in a licensed Blood Centre.
  • Route 2: Degree in M.L.T. or Blood Bank Technology, with six months experience in testing of blood and/or its components in a licensed Blood Centre.
  • Route 3: B.Sc. in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, with six months experience in testing of blood and/or its components in a licensed Blood Centre.
  • Route 4: M.Sc. in Transfusion Medicine, with six months experience in testing of blood and/or its components in a licensed Blood Centre.
  • Route 5: P.G.D. in M.L.T., with six months experience in testing of blood and/or its components in a licensed Blood Centre.
  • Experience is reckoned only after qualification. No cut-off date for age calculation or age relaxation is specified in the notification.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The official notification for Advertisement No. OS/VIZAG/26/37 does not specify the selection process or shortlisting criteria. Candidates are advised to carry complete original and self-attested documentation for verification at the interview venue. No TA/DA will be paid to any candidate for attending the walk-in interview.
