Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• Note: The remuneration of Rs. 32,000/- per month is a consolidated emolument paid through the authorised manpower agency of IPC. This is a contract-based appointment for the specified project duration and does not confer permanent Government employee benefits such as pension, provident fund, or seniority-based promotion.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post: Pharmacovigilance Assistant (1 Post)
• Essential Qualification (any one of the following): Master Degree in Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, and Clinical Research from a recognised university / institute. Pharm.D from a recognised university / institute. MBBS from a recognised university / institute. BDS from a recognised university / institute.
• Experience Required: Minimum one year of post-qualification experience in Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance.
• Additional Requirement: Proficiency in computer operations is mandatory.
• Age Limit: The upper age limit for the applicant should not exceed 28 years as on the prescribed cut-off date.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process for IPC Pharmacovigilance Assistant consists of the following stages:
• Document / Application Screening: Applications received by email will be scrutinised against eligibility criteria (qualification, experience, age, computer proficiency). Candidates who do not meet the prescribed criteria will be shortlisted out.
• Written Test and/or Interview: Shortlisted candidates shall be called for a written test / interview as determined by the selection committee. The exact date, time, and venue of the written test / interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through their registered email address.
• Important: No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid to candidates appearing for the written test / interview.
• Screening Clause: IPC reserves the right to shortlist candidates based on higher academic merit, relevant experience, or any additional screening test without inviting all applicants for the interview. Merely meeting the minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee an interview call.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must attach attested copies of the following documents along with the duly filled application form. All documents must be scanned and consolidated into a single PDF file before submission:
• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (M.Pharm / Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS as applicable)
• Experience Certificate in Drug Safety / Pharmacovigilance (on official letterhead) confirming at least one year post-qualification experience
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
• Proof of Computer Proficiency
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Submission Instruction: Duly filled application along with all attested supporting documents must be scanned and sent as a single PDF file to the email address specified in the IPC Pharmacovigilance Assistant Official Notification PDF on or before 15 October 2026. Applications received after the last date will not be considered.
