Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree from a recognised University/Institute approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. The graduation mark sheets and provisional/final degree certificate must have been issued on or after 1 April 2022.
• Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on 1 October 2026 (with relaxation for reserved categories as per rules).
• Nationality: Citizen of India, or subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1962, or person of Indian origin from specified countries with eligibility certificate.
• Other Conditions: Must not have undergone or be currently undergoing apprenticeship with UCO Bank or any other organisation.Candidates with one year or more experience after educational qualification are not eligible.Must be proficient in the local language of the chosen State/UT (test during document verification).Can apply for only one State/UT.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection is through an online objective test conducted by BFSI SSC.
• Followed by a local language test during document verification and a medical fitness check.
• The online test consists of 100 questions (25 each in General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, Quantitative Aptitude) for 100 marks, duration 60 minutes.
• Minimum qualifying marks: 40 for General/EWS and 35 for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD.
• Merit list is prepared State-wise and category-wise.
• No TA/DA will be paid for document verification or any other process.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications)
• Experience Certificates on Official Letterhead (if applicable)
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Important Instructions:
• Candidates must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number, kept active until the engagement process is complete.
• Original certificates for educational qualification, age and category must be produced at document verification.
• OBC candidates need a non-creamy layer certificate issued on or after 1 April 2026; EWS candidates need an Income and Asset Certificate valid for FY 2026-27; PwBD candidates need a disability certificate.
• Apprentices are trainees, not employees; PF, ESI, bonus and other labour-law provisions do not apply.
• Candidates must execute a Contract of Apprenticeship before training begins.
• Travel costs for document verification are borne by the candidate.
• Canvassing in any form is a disqualification.
• All disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Courts at Kolkata.
