Essential Qualification:

  • First class in M.Sc Forestry from a recognized university.
  • Minimum one year experience in Research and Development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology organizations in forestry-related studies.

Desirable Qualification:

  • Experience in GIS and Spatial data analysis.

Age Relaxation:

  • 5 years for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
  • 3 years for Other Backward Communities (OBC) candidates.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection is based on a Walk-in Interview scheduled for 19 November 2026.
  • Meeting minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call. If a large number of applications/candidates attend, the Screening Committee may apply specific preference criteria.
  • Selected candidates must join within the time frame specified in the offer letter after completing pre-appointment formalities.
  • No TA (Travel Allowance) will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • Original certificates of qualifications and experience.
  • Biodata / Curriculum Vitae.
  • Candidates in their final semester or awaiting results are not eligible.
  • Candidates must sign an undertaking regarding the confidentiality of project findings and intellectual property.
  • The engagement can be terminated by either party with one month's notice or payment of one month's remuneration in lieu.
