Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Postgraduate Route: PG degree in Sports Biomechanics, Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Physical Education, or Physiotherapy from a recognized University/Institution.
• Undergraduate Route: UG degree in Footwear Design, Footwear Technology, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or a relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.
• Desired Academic Performance: Minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is desirable.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on educational qualification and relevant experience.
• Written Test / Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Written Test/Interview as prescribed by the University/Project at the TNPESU Campus on 16 October 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
• Call Letter: No separate call letter will be sent. Eligible candidates are requested to attend the interview on 16.10.2026 at 11.00 a.m. in the TNPESU Campus.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Download the application form from www.tnpesu.org and fill in all required details accurately.
• Enclose self-attested copies of Degree/Diploma and Experience Certificates.
• Attach proof of community and other necessary certificates where applicable.
• Enclose the Demand Draft for the application fee drawn in favour of "The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University", payable at Chennai at any Nationalized Bank.
• Send the filled-in application by post to: The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Melakottaiyur (Po), Chennai – 600 127.
• Ensure the application reaches the university on or before 15.10.2026 before 5:00 p.m.
• The appointment is purely temporary, contractual, and co-terminus with the CMRG project (duration: 3 years).
• The selected candidate shall work full-time and shall not simultaneously draw any other fellowship/financial assistance from another funding agency.
• The appointment shall not confer any right to claim regular appointment or absorption in the University.
