Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Teaching Assistant – Department of Computer Science:Bachelor's Degree (B.E / B.Tech) in Computer Science / Computer Science and EngineeringM.Tech in Computer Science / Computer Science and EngineeringNET or PhD in the concerned subject
• Fallback eligibility (without NET/PhD): Candidates without NET or PhD who possess B.Tech and M.Tech in the above subjects will be considered; however, their engagement shall be limited to 179 days or one academic session, whichever is shorter.
• Preference: Applicants who furnish a declaration of willingness to act as Resident Tutor in VKIDFT hostels will be given preference.
• Age Limit: Not more than 50 years as on the date of advertisement. No age relaxation is mentioned in the notification.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Mode: Direct walk-in interview at the Dean's Chamber, VKIDFT, Mannuthy on 20 November 2026.
• Reporting: Candidates must report at 10:00 AM; the interview commences at 11:00 AM.
• Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified on the spot during the interview.
• No Written Test: The selection is based solely on the personal interview. However, if the number of eligible candidates exceeds 30, the institute reserves the right to conduct a screening written test before shortlisting for the interview.
• No TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending the walk-in interview.

• Key Conditions of Engagement:
• The engagement is purely provisional and on a daily wage basis for a maximum of 360 days.
• For candidates selected without NET/PhD, engagement is limited to 179 days or one academic session, whichever is shorter.
• The engagement will be governed by the relevant university rules and regulations from time to time.
• Unauthorized absence or leave extending beyond 15 days will result in termination of engagement.
• The engagement does not entitle the candidate to any claim for future permanent posting in KVASU.
• The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the post without assigning any reason.
