Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Eligibility is determined by the essential qualification for each post. Preference is given to candidates with relevant experience and higher qualifications. No age limit is specified in the advertisement.

Essential Qualification – Contractual Posts

• Contractual Assistant Professor (Food Technology): M.Tech. (Food Technology) with NET/SET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Contractual Assistant Professor (Food Business/Market Management): MBA (Food Business/Market Management) with M.Tech. (Food Technology) with NET/SET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Contractual Assistant Professor Physical Education: M.P.Ed. with NET/SET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Contractual Assistant Librarian: M.Lib. with NET/SET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline

Essential Qualification – Clock Hour Basis Teacher Posts

• Mathematics (Deficiency Course): M.Sc. (Mathematics) with NET/SET/SLET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Engineering Drawing & Graphics: M.Tech./ME (IT/CSE/Mechanical Engineering) with NET/SET/SLET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Agricultural Informatics and Artificial Intelligence: M.Tech./ME (IT/CSE) with NET/SET/SLET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• Engineering Mathematics-II: M.Sc. (Mathematics) with NET/SET/SLET, or Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
• For Clock Hour Basis Teacher posts, the selection committee may relax the educational qualification if a candidate with the essential qualification or its equivalent is not available.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an online interview scheduled for 19 October 2026 at 11:00 AM onwards.
• No interview call letters will be dispatched. Shortlisted candidates will be notified via Email/WhatsApp with the interview link, process, and schedule.
• Shortlisting criteria are not specified in the advertisement beyond the preference for relevant experience and higher qualifications.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
• Selected candidates must present one set of attested photocopies along with original testimonials/documents at the time of joining for verification. Failure to provide originals will result in cancellation of appointment, and the next waitlisted candidate will be appointed.
• For 11-month contractual posts, selected candidates must sign a bond on Rs. 100/- stamp paper at the time of joining; otherwise, they will not be permitted to join duties.
