  • Nature of Job: To conduct trials of Lokpal-referred cases pending before the Special Judge, CBI, Coimbatore.
  • Period of Engagement: Minimum 3 years.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educational Qualification: Must possess an LLB degree.
  • Bar Enrollment: Must hold a valid Enrollment Certificate as an Advocate with the respective Bar Council.
  • Minimum Experience: A minimum standing of 10 years as an Advocate is mandatory.
  • Criminal Law Expertise: Proven experience at the Bar in handling criminal matters in Sessions Courts.
  • Mandatory Specialization: Experience in conducting trials of cases under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 is a compulsory requirement.
  • Willingness: Must provide unconditional willingness/consent to work under the general terms and conditions approved by the Government of India.

Salary & Professional Fee

  • The Professional fee for the engaged Special Public Prosecutor will be governed by the terms and conditions contained in DoPT File No. 225/19/2023-AVD-II dated 08.04.2024. Candidates are advised to refer to the attached copy in the official notification for detailed fee structure.
