Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M.Sc. (Ag.) in Genetics and Plant Breeding from a recognized university.
• Radiation Safety Officer (RSO): Diploma in Engineering / B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Degree in Engineering / M.Tech., plus one of the following: Training course on Radiation Safety aspects of Gamma Irradiation Chambers Post M.Sc. Diploma in Radiological Physics Training course on Radiation Safety Aspects in Research Application of Ionizing Radiation RSO Training for Gamma Radiation Processing Facilities Training course on Radiation Safety Aspects
• Field Assistant (FA) & Lab Attendant (LA): B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.).
• Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 35 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per VV Rules/CG Gov. rules for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged/Ex-Serviceman/Women/CG domicile candidates.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• JRF & RSO: Selection is based on academic performance and personal interview scheduled for 30 November 2026.
• Field Assistant & Lab Attendant: Direct recruitment based on score card as per V.V. guidelines.
• List of eligible candidates will be uploaded on 27 November 2026.
• Document verification will be done one hour prior to the interview.
• TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid to shortlisted candidates for attending the interview.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (Relevant Qualifications).
• Radiation Safety Training Certificates (For RSO post).
• Self-attested copies of all certificates and related documents as per application form.
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central/State Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
• Candidates must send the application to: Office of the Director Research Services, Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur- 492012 (C.G.) by Registered Post, Speed Post, or by Hand on or before 23 November 2026 (5.30 PM).
