Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Signal Processing Engineer (Breath/Speech): B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with minimum 3 years of relevant R&D/industry experience in healthcare or imaging analytics/signal processing/speech processing; OR M.E./M.Tech./M.S. with minimum 1 year of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology/Science with relevant doctoral research.
• Bio Medical Data Scientist: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with minimum 3 years of relevant R&D/industry experience in medical device development or calibration; OR M.E./M.Tech./M.S. with minimum 1 year of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology/Science with relevant doctoral research.
• Senior AI/ML Engineer: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./MCA with minimum 4 years of R&D/industry experience in healthcare software development; OR M.E./M.Tech./M.S. with minimum 2 years of relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology/Science with doctoral research in AI/ML/Data Science and at least 2 research publications.
• AI/ML Engineer: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./MCA with minimum 2 years of relevant R&D/industry experience in AI/ML/Data Science for healthcare analytics; OR M.E./M.Tech./M.S. with major thesis/project and relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology/Science with relevant doctoral research and at least 2 research publications.
• Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator: M.Sc. in Nursing, Life Sciences, Nutrition, or Dietetics with minimum 1 year in clinical trials or population studies.
• Research Assistant/Clinical Coordinator: Master's degree in Public Health, Clinical Research, Allied Health Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related healthcare discipline from a recognized institution with minimum 1 year relevant experience in clinical/healthcare research, NCD screening, clinical data collection, or population-based health studies.
• Embedded Hardware & Firmware Engineer: B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. with minimum 2 years of relevant R&D/industry experience in embedded systems, biomedical devices, wearable technology, or sensor-based systems; OR M.E./M.Tech./M.S. with thesis/project experience in embedded systems, biomedical devices, wearable technology, or healthcare sensing; OR Ph.D. with research experience in the same fields.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates must report at MPH-II, First Floor, Phase-II, ILBS on or before 11:00 AM on 31 October 2026. Document verification and attendance will take place upon reporting. In the event of a large number of candidates reporting, the Institute reserves the right to undertake further screening based on qualifications and experience and to shortlist candidates for conducting a written test and/or interview, as deemed appropriate.
• TA/DA Policy: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview or any related selection process.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Duly filled-in application form in the prescribed format appended with the notification.
• A recent passport-size photograph affixed on the application form.
• All required original documents supporting educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, and category/disability claims.
• One set of self-attested photocopies of all required documents as per Recruitment Rules (RRs).
• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
• Candidates must report on or before 11:00 AM on 31 October 2026, after which no candidate will be permitted to appear for the walk-in interview. The engagement is purely contractual till 31 December 2026 and co-terminus with the project duration; selected candidates have no claim for regular appointment at ILBS or continuation in any other project.

What is the salary structure for the posts?

• The monthly remuneration ranges from Rs. 55,000 (for Research Assistant/Clinical Coordinator) to Rs. 1,50,000 (for Signal Processing Engineer, Bio Medical Data Scientist, and Senior AI/ML Engineer) per month. No additional benefits like HRA, Provident Fund, or medical claims are admissible.
