SSC CHSL 2026 Educational Qualification

• For most LDC/JSA and DEO posts, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised Board or University.
• However, for specified DEO and DEO Grade A posts in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Staff Selection Commission and Ministry of Culture, candidates must have passed 12th in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
• Candidates appearing in the Class 12 examination may also apply, but they must possess the required qualification by October 7, 2026.

Selection Process : SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026

• The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two tiers:
• Tier-I
• Tier-II
• Tier-I includes questions from:
• English Language
• General Intelligence
• Quantitative Aptitude

• The Tier-I examination consists of 100 questions for 200 marks, with 0.50 marks deducted for every wrong answer.
