Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in the respective discipline (Agronomy) is mandatory.
  • NET Requirement: Candidates with a Master's degree must have qualified NET from ICAR/UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC/State.
  • Ph.D Exemption: Candidates registered for Ph.D before July 11, 2009, are exempted from NET if they satisfy the UGC five-condition criteria (Regular mode Ph.D, external evaluation, open viva-voce, publication of 2 papers, conference presentations).
  • Retired Faculty: Retired University/College teachers of the concerned discipline are eligible to apply.
  • Relaxation: The competent authority may relax the NET condition in exceptional cases.
  • Essential: Candidate must be an Indian citizen and possess qualifications by the last date (Nov 3, 2026).

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Selection will be based on the screening of the bio-data and self-attested certificates submitted via post.
  • A panel of 3 to 4 persons will be prepared in the concerned discipline for contact hour teaching assignments.
  • The university reserves the right not to fill any vacancy or to terminate the services at any time without assigning a reason.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for any stage of the recruitment process.

  • Application written on plain paper addressed to the Dean.
  • Detailed Bio-data.
  • Self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates (Degree, NET, Ph.D, Publications).
  • Applications must reach the college before November 3, 2026. Late applications will be rejected.
