Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• Tenure: 01 year or till the availability of project funds, whichever is earlier; extendable based on performance review and validity of the project. The post is co-terminus with the project. Accommodation may be provided as per NBRC rules, subject to availability.

Project Research Scientist- I (1 Vacancy)

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D or equivalent degree with at least one research article published in a reputed and indexed journal.
• Desirable Experience: Proficiency in Python/MATLAB and Linux operating systems Handling neuroimaging (MRI) data or neurophysiological (EEG/MEG) data Experience with time series data from real-world measurements
• Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application. No age relaxation has been stated in the notice; candidates should refer to the official notification for further details.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process for NBRC Project Research Scientist- I follows these stages:
• Application Receipt: All applications are received by post up to the closing date of 16 November 2026.
• Screening Committee Evaluation: A duly constituted Screening Committee evaluates applications and shortlists eligible candidates. The decision of the Screening Committee is final.
• Interview of Shortlisted Candidates: Only shortlisted candidates are called for an interview. Meeting minimum qualifications and experience does not confer any right to be called for interview. NBRC does not entertain correspondence or interim enquiries regarding shortlisting or interview scheduling.
