Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Post: Gram Panchayat Secretary (Panchayat Karmi)
• Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) board examination passed from a recognised board; One-year diploma in Data Entry Operator / Programming from a government-recognised institution.
• Residence: Local resident of Jashpur district (self-attested residence certificate from competent authority).
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 35 years complete as of 01.01.2026. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and female candidates as per Chhattisgarh government instructions.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection is based on a merit list and computer skill test. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the test or document verification.
• Merit Determination: 50% weightage of Higher Secondary marks; up to 10 marks for higher educational qualifications (5 marks Graduation, 5 marks Post Graduation); 25% weightage for computer skill test; up to 15 marks for Rojgar Sahayak experience (3 marks per year, max 5 years).
• Computer Skill Test Ratio: 5 candidates called against 1 post based on provisional merit list.
• Tie-Breaking: Date of birth priority (older candidates preferred).
• Probation: 3 years, extendable up to 5 years for unsatisfactory performance.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Self-attested passport-size photograph affixed on application form and extra photographs.
• Self-attested copies of educational mark sheets and certificates (High School, Higher Secondary, Graduation, Post Graduation).
• One-year diploma certificate in Data Entry Operator / Programming.
• Age proof documents and marriage certificate (optional).
• Local resident certificate of Jashpur district issued by competent authority.
• Caste certificate for reserved category candidates; creamy layer certificate for OBC candidates where applicable.
• Valid live employment exchange registration card and number with date.
• Experience certificates countersigned by CEO, District Panchayat (for Rojgar Sahayak experience).
• NOC through proper channel if working in government/semi-government institutions.
