Essential Qualifications (Medical)
- A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule, or Part II of the third schedule, of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 (candidates with Part II third schedule qualifications must also fulfil the conditions of Section 13(3) of the Act).
- Must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
- A postgraduate degree, i.e., MD/MS/DNB as per MCI rule in the specialty concerned, or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
- Candidates must hold a valid qualification (pass certificate) as on the last date for receipt of applications.
Department-wise Postgraduate Qualification Requirements
Dual (Medical/Non-Medical) Eligibility Departments
- For Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Clinical Immunology, and Endocrinology, candidates may apply through either the medical (MD/DNB) or the non-medical (M.Sc./M.Biotech + Ph.D.) route.
Age Limit
- Upper Age Limit: 45 years as on the crucial date.
- No age relaxation for reserved category candidates applying against unreserved vacancies.
- Application Fee: ₹1000 + 18% GST (₹1180) for all categories except PwBD/SC/ST (exempted). Fee payable via NEFT.
🎯 Selection Process
- Walk-in Interview: Candidates must report in person at the Administrative Block, 3rd Floor, AIIMS Bilaspur, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh on 21 August 2026 on or before 9:00 AM. Reporting after 10:00 AM will not be allowed.
- Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified before the interview.
- Screening: The Screening Committee may shortlist candidates for the interview based on original document verification.
Walk-In Procedure & Important Instructions
- Since this is a walk-in recruitment, candidates are NOT required to fill any online application form. The process to be followed is:
- Prepare Application Form: Download and fill the prescribed application form (available on the official website) and Annexure-II (Proforma/Checklist).
- Pay Fee (if applicable): Pay the application fee via NEFT to the account mentioned in the notification and carry the proof of payment.
- Prepare Documents: Carry one set of self-attested photocopies of Degrees, Certificates, Mark sheets, Age proof, Caste certificates, PwBD certificate (if applicable), and Publications/Awards.
- Bring Originals: Carry all original documents for verification at the time of the interview.
- Report In-Person: Report in person at the Recruitment Cell, 3rd Floor, Administrative Block, AIIMS Bilaspur, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh, on or before 09:00 AM on 21 August 2026.
- Important: Candidates working in Central/State Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Institutions must submit a "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview.
