Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Remedial Educator: Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (DECSE) OR Diploma in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) / Hearing Impaired (HI) / Intellectual Disability (ID) from a recognized institution.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 40 years as on the date prescribed in the notification. Age relaxation, if any, will be applicable as per Government of Kerala norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates — candidates are advised to verify relaxations in the official NAM Kerala Remedial Educator notification.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Stage 1 — Offline Application Screening: Submitted applications are screened for eligibility, qualification, and completeness of documents. Only candidates meeting all criteria will be shortlisted for the interview.
  • Stage 2 — Walk-in Interview (16 October 2026): Shortlisted candidates will appear for a walk-in interview at the DPMSU Office, Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates should report on the interview date with original documents for verification.
  • Stage 3 — Document Verification: Original certificates and supporting documents will be verified at the time of interview. Only verified candidates will be considered for the contractual engagement.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the walk-in interview or participating in the selection process.
