Age Limit for ANGRAU Teaching Associate

• Upper Age Limit (Men): 40 years
• Upper Age Limit (Women): 45 years

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Candidates must satisfy at least one of the following educational qualifications along with the mandatory experience and publication requirements:
• Option A: Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics or a relevant subject
• Option B: Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics or a relevant subject
• Option C: Bachelor's Degree of 4 or 5 years duration with first division or equivalent overall grade point average

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection process for ANGRAU Teaching Associate consists of the following stages:
• Registration: Candidates must register their names at the venue by completing the application form before 11:30 AM on 16 October 2026
• Document Verification: Original certificates and one set of photocopies will be verified at the time of registration
• Interview: A direct interview will be conducted by the selection committee at 01:00 PM on 16 October 2026
• No written screening test will be conducted. The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding in all respects.
• No T.A. and D.A. will be paid to candidates appearing for the walk-in interview.

Contract Terms and Important Instructions

• The individual will be engaged purely on a temporary and contractual basis for a maximum period of 11 months, and will be terminated automatically upon completion of 11 months or upon filling of regular staff by the university, whichever is earlier
• The incumbent shall not have any claim or right for any regular appointment in the university or any government organization
• The incumbent shall not have any claim or right for further continuation of contractual service
• Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification at the time of selection or termination even during the contractual engagement period
• Contractual engagement can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason

• Candidates attending the walk-in interview must bring the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies:
• Filled-in application form (attached with the official notification)
• All original educational certificates and mark sheets
• Certificates evidencing teaching/research experience (Fellowship, Associateship, Training, etc.)
• Published research paper in SCI / NAAS-rated (≥ 4.0) journal
• NET qualification certificate (if applicable)
• Valid identity proof and recent passport-size photographs
• Date of birth proof (Matriculation certificate)
• Caste / category certificate in prescribed format (if applicable)
