Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• Pay Scale Explanation: Candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET Lectureship / Assistant Professorship, or GATE, or National level examinations conducted by Central Government departments such as DBT, DST, or their agencies and institutions, will receive Rs. 31,000/- + HRA per month. All other eligible candidates will receive Rs. 25,000/- + HRA per month.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Selection will be conducted through an Interview conducted online via MS Teams / Skype or similar platforms.
• The interview date will be notified separately on the official CSIR-NEERI website (www.neeri.res.in).
• Selected candidates are expected to join within the time frame mentioned in the offer letter after pre-appointment formalities including medical examination and character verification.
• Selected candidates shall sign an undertaking for maintaining confidentiality of project findings and associated intellectual property information.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interviews, whether online or offline.

• Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth.
• All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets for the relevant M.Sc. qualification.
• Provisional Certificate or Final Degree Certificate confirming the declared result.
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable).
• NET / GATE / CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR / DBT / DST qualifying certificate (if applicable for Rs. 31,000 pay scale).
• Two recent passport-size photographs & Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN).
• Additional Instructions:
• The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the associated project.
• Engagement does not confer any right, implicit or explicit, for regularization against any CSIR/CSIR-NEERI permanent post.
• Tenure of project staff who have served CSIR-NEERI or any CSIR laboratory under contract R&D projects shall not exceed six or seven years as per CSIR OM No. 5-1(342)/2017-PD dated 02-09-2024.
• Project staff shall make their own accommodation arrangements; HRA is admissible as per applicable rules.
