Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Outreach Worker: Graduation from a recognized university in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, General Health, Counselling, or any stream; OR a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Communication. Minimum 1 year of work experience in government, quasi-government organizations, or NGOs. Computer skills are mandatory. Preference given to women and candidates with experience in child development sector. Additional preference for candidates with experience in emergency assistance centers.
• Case Worker: Passed 12th class or equivalent examination from a recognized board. Must possess special communication skills. Must have work experience in emergency assistance centers (mandatory). Preference given to candidates with prior work experience in emergency assistance centers.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification, experience, and relevance to the notified post.
• Screening of applications will be carried out by the District Child Protection Officer, Tirunelveli.
• Shortlisted candidates may be called for an interview or document verification as determined by the appointing authority.
• Original certificates must be produced at the time of verification.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for attending any stage of the selection process.

Key Instructions

• The appointment is completely temporary and on a contract basis for one year from the date of joining. There is no right to claim permanent government employment.

• One day of casual leave per month will be granted after completion of one full month of continuous work.
• The employment can be cancelled at any time without prior notice or reason.
