Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Qualification: Matric/10th Pass from recognized board along with a minimum 05 days training from the Directorate of Agriculture and Horticulture, Jharkhand.
• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years. Maximum 35 years for Unreserved category and 40 years for BC/SC/ST category (as on 01 January 2026).
• Additional Requirements:Must be a permanent resident of Seraikela-Kharsawan district.Proficiency in riding a bicycle and climbing trees.Knowledge of the local language.
• Desirable: Candidates with training exceeding 05 days from the Directorate of Agriculture and Horticulture, Jharkhand, will be given preference.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection is based on the scrutiny of application forms and evaluation based on 100 marks:
• 60 Marks: Percentage in Matriculation (10th).
• 12 Marks: For 05 days training.
• 08 Marks: Additional marks for training exceeding 5 days.
• 20 Marks: Interview.
• Note: Candidates with training of less than 5 days are not counted in the merit list. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview/selection process.
