Eligibility for Multi Task Worker (Pashu Mitra)
- Essential: Minimum qualification of Matric (10th) from any School/Institution situated within Himachal Pradesh. The condition of passing 10th from Himachal School shall not be applicable to Bonafide Himachali.
- Residency: Normal/Neighboring resident of Gram Panchayat/Urban Local Bodies falling in the jurisdiction of concerned Veterinary Institution. Bonafide resident of Himachal Pradesh.
- Physical & Character: Able bodied, physically fit, having a sound mind, and of sound character.
- Desirable: Knowledge of Animal Husbandry Activities; Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh.
Age Limit
- Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 45 years of age as on 05-02-2026 (last date of receipt of applications).
Salary / Stipend
- Honorarium of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) per month.
- Engagement is for part-time work (04 hours a day).
🎯 Selection Process
- Stage-I (Physical Test): Candidate must carry 25 Kg weight up to 100 meters within one minute. Dates/Venue will be uploaded on the departmental website.
- Stage-II (Merit List & Counselling): Pashu Mitra Engagement Committee (PMEC) will prepare a panel of 5 candidates on merit basis for each institution for document verification.
- Marks Distribution (Total 100):
- Essential Educational Qualification (Matric): 85 marks (percentage × 0.85)
- Practical Experience in Animal Husbandry: Max 4.5 marks
- Permanent resident of Gram Panchayat/ULB or neighboring area: Up to 1 mark
- SC/ST/OBC: 1 mark
- BPL/EWS: 1.5 marks
- Widow/Divorced/Destitute/Single woman: 1.5 marks
- Single daughter/Orphan: 1 mark
- Landless family (< 1 Hectare): 2 marks
- Non-employment certificate: 1.5 marks
- NSS/NCC/Scout/Guide/National Sports: 1 mark
📝 How to Apply Step-by-Step
- Candidates must apply on the prescribed form (Annexure-A) on A-4 size paper.
- Fill the application in own handwriting with blue/black ink ball point pen.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of required documents (ID proof, Matric certificate, Bonafide certificate, Character certificate, Category/BPL/EWS certificates, Experience certificates).
- Send the application along with two self-addressed envelopes to the office of Senior Veterinary Officer of the respective Sub Divisional Veterinary Hospital.
