Post-Wise Vacancy & Pay Scale

• All 8 posts are categorized under the OBC column. No vacancies are reserved under UR, EWS, SC, or ST categories for any specialty. The number of posts may change without notice depending on actual availability at the time of interview.

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• The following eligibility conditions apply uniformly to all five Senior Resident specialties:
• MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma or any other equivalent qualification in the concerned specialty recognized by Medical Council of India.
• Non-PG Relaxation: If a PG-qualified candidate is not available, a Non-PG candidate with at least 2 years of experience in the concerned specialty in a Government or Government-emplaned hospital will be considered.
• Must be registered with the Delhi Medical Council (DMC); only qualifications incorporated in the DMC will be considered.
• Must not have completed 3 years of Senior Residency.
• Must be a citizen of India.
• Age Limit: 45 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation for Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) admissible as per Government of India rules on submission of a Handicapped Certificate from the competent authority.
• For OBC reservation and age relaxation, only OBC candidates notified by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under letter/order Nos. F.19(10)/2001/S-III/Pt.File/2278-2285 dated 27/07/2007 and F.19(01)/2012/S.IV/1241-1258 dated 28/07/2016 are eligible. OBC candidates from outside Delhi are treated as Unreserved and must apply under the UR category.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• Registration: Candidates must register through the Google Form link provided in the official notification. Upon submission, an auto-generated email with a pre-filled application form is sent to the candidate.
• Walk-in Interview: Candidates must report between 09:00 AM and 11:00 AM on 12 November 2026 at the Conference Hall, 3rd Floor. No candidate will be entertained after 11:00 AM.
• Interview: A direct walk-in interview will be conducted by the Selection Board / Medical Superintendent PMMMH. The decision of the Selection Board is final and binding; no representation will be entertained.
• Waitlist: A panel of waitlisted candidates will be prepared for filling future Senior Resident vacancies.
• Result Declaration: Results will be declared on the website of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, GNCT Delhi.
• Joining: Selected candidates must join duties within 07 days of receiving the offer of appointment after completion of medical formalities.
• No TA/DA will be paid for appearing at the interview.
• Physical application is not accepted. Only registration through the prescribed Google Form is valid.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must bring all original certificates and testimonials along with self-attested photocopies and five passport-size photographs:
• Original Matriculation (Class X) Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
• Delhi Medical Council (DMC) Registration Certificate (as applicable)
• MBBS Degree and all MBBS Mark Sheets
• MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma Certificate (for Senior Resident posts)
• MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma Mark Sheets
• Attempt Certificate
• Experience Certificate on Official Letterhead (for Non-PG candidates)
• Valid Category / Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority (if applicable), including Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for OBC candidates
• Five passport-size photographs and valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
• Self-attested copies of all original documents
• Pre-filled Google Form Application Printout (auto-generated via email after registration)
• Any other relevant documents, Experience Certificate, and Undertaking if applicable
• Important: Appointment is subject to medical fitness and verification of certificates of educational qualifications, age, caste, DMC registration, and internship completion. If any declaration or information is found false or any material fact is suppressed willfully, the candidature or appointment will be cancelled or terminated forthwith.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• The hospital reserves the right to change the number of vacancies or withdraw the process in full or in part without assigning reasons or giving notice.
• In case of legal disputes, the jurisdiction of court will be Delhi/New Delhi only.
• The Competent Authority reserves the right to decide any dispute about the selection process.
