Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

• Applications are invited from eligible officers for deputation. The selection criteria are as follows:
• Primary Eligibility: Officers of Major Port Authorities holding analogous posts.
• Alternative Eligibility: Officers holding posts in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000-1,60,000/- (pre-revised scale Rs. 20,600-46,500 / 10,750-16,750) with 3 years of regular service in the grade in Major Port Authorities.
• Failing Above: Officers of the Central Government, State Government, PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies with a similar grade.
• Age Limit: The maximum age for consideration shall be 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application (23.11.2026) in terms of DoPT OM dated 05.02.2018.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

• The selection will be based on merit. Candidates must ensure their overall grading in the Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) is not below "Very Good".
• Screening of applications received through the proper channel.
• Merit-based selection considering APAR grading.
• Administrative and Vigilance clearance verification.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

• Applications must be forwarded through the proper channel in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II).
• Superscribe the envelope: "Application for the post of Dy. Chief Vigilance Officer in Visakhapatnam Port Authority".
• Enclose attested photocopies of all certificates, educational qualifications, and work experience.
• Enclose attested photocopies of ACRs/APARs for the last five years (2021-22 to 2025-26).
• Enclose No-objection Certificate from the respective Port.
• Enclose an undertaking not to withdraw if selected.
• Enclose two recent passport-size photographs in a sealed envelope.
• Applications received after the due date or without necessary enclosures will not be considered.
