Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Primary Qualification: M.Sc. (Agri.) in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology.
  • Alternative Qualification (if primary candidates not available): M.Sc. (Agri.) in Plant Pathology, Agricultural Microbiology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, or Agricultural Entomology with a strong background in molecular techniques.
  • Compulsory Requirement: CSIR-UGC-NET qualification or selection through ICAR / National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and agencies (DST, DBT, UGC, ICAR, GATE, IIT, etc.).
  • Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • Direct Walk-In Interview on 20 November 2026.
  • Reporting at 11:00 AM at the Office of the Associate Director of Research, UAS Dharwad.
  • Original documents verification during the interview.
  • Important: No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the walk-in interview. Candidates must attend at their own expense. The application must not be sent in advance under any circumstances.
