Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

  • Young Professional II — Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Plant Breeding / Genetics / Plant Pathology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences from a recognized university.
  • Experience Required: One year of hands-on experience in handling of wheat breeding or plant pathological work in a research institution, university, or agricultural department.

Selection Process & Screening Clause

  • The selection of candidates for the post of Young Professional II at CSKHPKV is based on the following process:
  • Screening of Applications: Eligible applications received by post will be screened by the selection committee against the prescribed qualification and experience criteria.
  • Work Specific Interaction: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Work Specific Interaction (personal interview / interaction meeting) on 23 October 2026 at the CSKHPKV campus, Palampur.
  • Final Selection: The appointment will be made on the basis of performance in the Work Specific Interaction and academic/ experience profile of the candidate.
  • Note: No Travel Allowance / Dearness Allowance (TA/DA) will be paid to candidates for attending the interaction. Candidates must bear their own travel and accommodation expenses.

Required Documents & Instructions for Candidates

  • All documents must be self-attested and attached with the application form:
  • Original Matriculation (10th) Certificate / Birth Certificate as Proof of Date of Birth
  • All Degree and Consolidated Mark Sheets (M.Sc. and relevant qualifications)
  • One Year Experience Certificate on Official Letterhead related to wheat breeding / plant pathological work
  • Valid Category / Caste Certificate in Central Government prescribed format (if applicable)
  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar / Voter ID / PAN)
